If you don't have family or friends that can help you get to and from hospital appointments, these community services will be happy to help you.

Medibus service

Our transport team provides a door to door service for people visiting a:

  • local hospital
  • doctor's surgery
  • health clinic
  • dentist.

Patient transport service

Provided by Yorkshire Ambulance Service, this is a non-emergency service that is suitable for patients referred to a local hospital or community health centre for a:

  • a consultation
  • treatment
  • a procedure.
