Legislation, policies and reports

"I’d like to know more about adult social care regulations and their performance."

Adult social care local account

Each year, we produce a report called our 'Adult social care local account' that explains how we have provided adult social care to thousands of adults across East Riding of Yorkshire.

What the report covers

The report looks at:

  • what we have achieved
  • how well we are performing
  • what we need to do in the coming year
  • how we spend money on adult social care.

Annual report 2021-22

In this report:

  • adult social care key facts
  • how we are rebuilding our social care services following the pandemic
  • tackling challenges, such as assessment backlogs, workforce recruitment and retention, and strengthening homecare to allow people to stay in their own homes
  • resuming delivery of our Your Life, Your Way programme that aims to modernise the way we support people through better use of technologies.

Please note: we’re working on our 2022-23 report at the moment. This will be published in winter 2023.
